1) Where is my data?
Your data resides in Utah in a professionally 24/7 managed IT center.
Specifically with BlueHost.com one of the world's largest providers of web
hosting. Additionally the database is backed up every night and a copy
of the backup file is transmitted to the office's of QualityRecord.com in
Connecticut. The backup is a full backup not an incremental, thus if you
wanted compare last Tuesday's data with last Friday's it could be done.
2) Is my data locked up in a proprietary format?
No, we use a SQL (Sequel Query Language) database, this is an industry
standard data format. Your data could be exported to another SQL database or
to a Microsoft Office application such as Excel.
Never allow your data to be locked up in a system that uses a proprietary format!
It is your data! Don't be held hostage!
3) Is my data safe from hackers?
No website is completely hacker safe.
However we have taken steps to prevent the vast majority of known attacks.
In addition to using a professional 24/7 IT center and backing up the data
everyday and storing the backups in two physical locations, we have written
the system in accepted software practice.
4) If I want to discontinue the service, how can I get my data?
Simply email us and all your data will be emailed to you. At the address on record.
5) How come I can't change my administrator level?'
You can not make your self an administrator.
The first person to register for your company is automatically an administrator.
Subsequent users must be added by that administrator or other users that the 1st
designates as an administrator.
The last user designated an administrator can not remove their administrator priviledge.
6) Can I download my data, work on it, then up load it?
No, not at this time and this feature is not scheduled for implementation.
7) We are a muliple location company, does this price cover multiple locations?
Yes, the usage fee is not location limited.
However we have added a number of users limitation of 50 users.
When the 51st user is added we will request another license to purchased.
8) Can we buy the software?
Yes.
All the software and database structure can be purchased for $2,500.00 USD.
Modifications requested will be quoted after a Statement of Work is agreed upon.
A "no compete", "internal use" only license is mandatory.
9) Can you import data from another database system?
It might be cost effective to re-enter. Contact us with details.
10) How do I document and record photographs and other paper based records?
Create a folder file indexed by the event index. Such as CA_021, PA_33
We plan on adding external document uploads in the future.
11) Can I give my customer access to records?
Yes, create a user profile for them. And only give them "read" authority.
Becareful this will allow them to see all your CA's. An improvement is planned
to grant selective viewing to a customer of selected CA's.
12) This site looks rather industrial, could you make it look better?
Yes, we could. But this is an industrial tool.
It must load fast, to load fast we have limited the graphics used, hence the
"industrial" look.
13) How are upgrades handled?
You are never charged extra for upgrades or new features.
